ORCA Beach Rules
ORCA's beach off of Ram Island Road, next to the pavilion, is for the benefit of ORCA members only. It is Not a public beach. Please follow the Beach Rules below:
- Swim at your own risk. No lifeguards are on duty.
- Personal flotation devices must be worn when launching paddleboards or kayaks from ORCA property. This is also required by Rhode Island law.
- NO DOGS on the BEACH at any time.
- Children under 16 years of age on the beach or surrounding ORCA properties (including the pavilion) must be under the supervision of an adult ORCA member.
- All kayaks and paddleboards must display a current ORCA sticker and be placed in their assigned rack. All others will be removed.
- Boats moored or anchored to the beach in a manner that obstructs access to kayaks or access to the pond are prohibited.
- Leave the beach the way you found it. Fill in holes. Remove trash and belongings.
- Do not toss cigarette butts or smoking materials on pavilion, beach, parking areas or anywhere else on ORCA property. Take them away with you.
- No overnight parking or camping.
- No fires and no fireworks, unless specifically approved by ORCA.
Anyone not an ORCA member or not following these rules may be asked to leave ORCA's property.
