Marina & Boat Ramps

ORCA owns and manages a 24 slip marina on Green Hill Pond - 22 slips at the end of Ram Island Road and 2 slips on the east side of the launch ramp just past the pavilion on Ram Island Road.
 
You must be a member of ORCA in good standing to enter the boat slip lottery, conducted each year in August to assign slips for the following year.  The 2027 Marina Boat Slip Lottery took place at the member meeting on August 15, 2026 - see the lottery picks and 2027 slip assignments below.  Any new applications will be placed on the marina wait list according to the Boat Slip & Lottery Rules. 
 
A reminder from the Boat Slip and Lottery Rules:  there is no guarantee that an applicant will receive a slip even if their name is drawn in the lottery due to boat size limitations in our marina.  That is, not all of our 24 slips can accommodate a 17' boat.  There is also no guarantee that an applicant will be placed in the same slip they had in the prior year. 
 
All slip renters MUST renew their ORCA membership by April 30 in order to retain their slip rental.

End of Season Note:  All slip renters and other boaters using ORCA's launch ramps:  The marina and launch docks will be removed on October 17, 2026.  Please remove boats from the marina by October 16.  Thank you!

Boat Launch Ramps & Key
 
ORCA owns and manages two boat launch ramps - an emergency service ramp next to the docks at the end of Ram Island Road and the primary launch ramp just past the pavilion on Ram Island Road.
 
The emergency service ramp is closed to general use.
 
You must be an owner of property in the Ocean Ridge plat of Charlestown and South Kingstown to use ORCA's primary boat launch ramp.  It is kept locked and Ocean Ridge property owners must apply for and rent a key to use this ramp.
