ORCA owns and manages a 24 slip marina on Green Hill Pond - 22 slips at the end of Ram Island Road and 2 slips on the east side of the launch ramp just past the pavilion on Ram Island Road.
 
 
You must be a member of ORCA in good standing to enter the boat slip lottery, conducted each year in August to assign slips for the following year.  The 2026 Marina Boat Slip Lottery took place at the member meeting on August 16, 2025 - see the lottery picks and 2026 slip assignments below.  Any new applications will be placed on the marina wait list according to the Boat Slip & Lottery Rules. 
 
For 2027 slip assignments, the boat slip lottery will take place at the member meeting on August 15, 2026.  To be entered into this lottery, all Marina Lottery Applications must be received by the ORCA Dock Committee by 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026.  Late applications will be added at the end of the wait list in the order received.
 
 
For 2026, the marina and launch docks were installed on May 16.  We still have 2 piers that were knocked down in winter storms to be installed.  While boats may now be placed in their slips, some will have to be removed when the pier work takes place.  ORCA's new launch ramp past the pavilion also has been completed.

Boat Launch Ramps
 
ORCA owns and manages two boat launch ramps - an emergency service ramp next to the docks at the end of Ram Island Road and the primary launch ramp just past the pavilion on Ram Island Road.
 
The emergency service ramp is closed to general use.
 
You must be an owner of property in the Ocean Ridge plat of Charlestown and South Kingstown to use ORCA's primary boat launch ramp.  It is kept locked and Ocean Ridge property owners must apply for and rent a key to use this ramp.
